1. Scope

This Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions to Gene Inspector Pro can be cancelled and under what circumstances refunds may be granted. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to this Cancellation Policy together with our Terms of Service.

2. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

Consumers residing in the European Union generally have a statutory right to withdraw from digital service contracts within 14 days, unless:

  • Digital content has not been fully delivered or accessed.
  • You have not waived your right of withdrawal by accepting immediate access.

2.1 Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you may cancel your purchase within 14 days unless the service has begun with your express consent and acknowledgement that you lose your right of withdrawal once digital access begins.

2.2 Waiver of Withdrawal Right

When purchasing a subscription, you may be asked to confirm that you want immediate access to the digital service. By ticking the waiver checkbox during checkout, you acknowledge that you lose your statutory withdrawal right once digital access begins.

3. Subscriptions and Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, please use one of the following methods:

  • Through your account settings.
  • By contacting us by email at support@gene-inspector.pro.

3.1 Cancellation Takes Effect at End of Billing Period

Cancelling your subscription prevents future renewals. You will continue to have access to the service until the end of your current paid billing period.

4. Refunds

Refunds are generally not available once digital access to the service has begun and the waiver of withdrawal right has been accepted, including but not limited to:

  • You forgot to cancel before renewal.
  • You changed your mind after gaining access.
  • You did not use the service after purchase.

Refund exceptions

Refunds may be considered only where required by law or in cases of verified technical failure that prevents access to the paid service and cannot be resolved within a reasonable period.
