What changed

Gene Inspector Pro now supports more input types and faster review workflows: raw SNP array uploads, a mitochondrial DNA panel for WGS files, and report views for default panels.

SNP array data support

You can upload raw files from AncestryDNA, FamilyTreeDNA, 23andMe, and MyHeritage. SNP arrays cover selected positions rather than the full genome, so missing variants may mean the array did not test that position.

Mitochondrial DNA panel

A dedicated panel covers the 37 mitochondrial genes with mitochondrial variant notation, including examples such as m.8860A>G. This panel is available for WGS data.

Report view for default panels

The report view summarizes key findings without requiring you to open every gene. It highlights missense variants, rare variants, pathogenic predictions, and drug response markers.
